The National Education Finance Academy is the academic home to scholars, students, practitioners, and policymakers who are interested in the study of education finance broadly defined. Our purpose is to improve education by promoting interest in and understanding of education finance principles and policies. We accomplish this goal by holding scholarly meetings for the presentation and discussion of education finance issues, by stimulating the teaching of P-20 education finance, and by disseminating scholarly research in our partner journals. Membership is open to all individuals who support the goal of improving education for all persons and we welcome broad representation of perspectives, including financial, legal, political, and social.
NEFA offers membership to students for $75 per year and to all others for $100 per year.
The membership-only option is designed for NEFA members wishing to renew their membership in the organization, but who are unable to attend the annual conference.
